1 medium yellow onion 8-16 oz. chicken broth
4 cups shredded red cabbage 2 tart red apples (such as Jonathan apples)
2 tbsp. cider vinegar 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
1 cup beer 2 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. olive oil salt and pepper to taste
